Janelle In Real Life: Evolution of Style

Evolution of Style

Hey friends. So over the years I have experienced a little bit of an evolution of style. Throughout middle school I pretty much wore what everyone else was wearing (or at least I tried to), but in high school I experimented a little more with my style and went through an "edgy" phase. I liked wearing a lot of black (oh wait... I still kind of do that) and I listened to hardcore music and I wore soooo much eyeliner. I'm not sure why I leaned toward that kind of style as a teen, but I still do like adding a little edgy-ness to the way I dress (just in smaller doses). This outfit combination makes me feel edgy. The necklace, plus the burnout tee, plus the distressed jeans, and of course the studded bracelets just make it a little more hardcore. And awesome.

Hope you like it too!

  1. I love thinking about you as an edgy teen. It's so great. And the pierced nose! You were such a rebel! I love it!
