Christmas!
It's the day after thanksgiving, which means all things Christmas are officially ok. Only guess what? I started decorating for Christmas a week ago, and I'm not even sorry about it.

Our simple little Christmas tree with pinecone ornaments & a burlap tree skirt. I'm seriously loving it.
An advent calendar, snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, and a ball of mistletoe so conveniently hanging in our hallway entrance (incase hubby needs some enticing for extra holiday kisses).
And two little holiday woodland creatures with the cutest little tree.
I got a lot of this years decorations from Target (duh) and as usual, they pulled through for me. Also, in honor of Christmas time, here's my list of things my family and I need to do before the holiday is upon us:
Go ice skating
See the lights at Temple Square
Lots of hot chocolate
Watch all kinds of Christmas movies
Make cookie plates for our neighbors
Do a random act of service for someone
Donate to Toys for Tots
Attend hubby's work Christmas party
Have loads of fun wrapping presents
Do a reunion roommate Christmas with some of my favorite ladies
Gingerbread house making
Present shopping (of course)
Read Luke II (the story of the birth of Christ) as a family
Find the perfect little nativity
Celebrate hubby's birthday on the 6th!
What are your plans for this holiday season? I think it's so fun to learn what other people's holiday traditions are so please comment and let me know what you'll be up to!
Those woodland creatures are adorable! And don't worry, we put our Christmas tree up the day after Halloween! No shame! Haha. I like your blog! Newest follower right hurrrr.

Cute! We decorate our tree similarly with red, gold, and silver ornaments and a burlap tree skirt.

I love Christmas decor! I was eyeing a mistletoe ball like that from Target the other day and plan to buy it this week. My husband thinks I'm crazy! ;) Sadly, our tree is still not up. Finals week and life has gotten in the way but I'm hoping to get it up today! :)
