floral scarf & hunter boots secrets

Happy Friday you guys! Incase you don't know this about me, I don't actually work out of the home so really the weekend is coolest because my husband gets to be home with us. And being a parent is one million times easier when there's someone else to help you with meltdowns, and diaper changes, and relieving boredom, and mealtime, and all the other fun stuff that parenting requires. So hooray for the weekend!

where she got it-- sweater: h&m // scarf: charlotte russe // jeans: nordstrom // boots: costco (find them here)

The day that we took these photos was pretty rainy, and cold, and not very spring-like. But the floral scarf helped to brighten things up a little, which I love. I don't really mind all that much when it rains anymore though, because I get to pull out these pretty hunters!
I told you all a while ago that I got these Hunter boots for $80 at costco.com (almost half the price!) and I've had lots of questions about it. I've checked online every now and then and I haven't seen them show up online since I bought them a few months ago. BUT I've heard that they are still in stock in some Costco stores! So if I were in the market for some nice rain boots, I would call up my local Costco and see if they have any in your size!
Another way to get hunter boots at a more affordable price is to get the kid version for $75. The $75 is the full price and certain colors in the kids sizes go on sale a lot! So definitely check those out. As far as sizing goes, kids sizes 3-6 are equivalent to women's sizes 5-8. The boot shaft is shorter and not as wide through the calf, but will still definitely work!

Hope you all have a grrrreat weekend!
