Janelle In Real Life: Swimsuit Insecurities

Swimsuit Insecurities

Am I the craziest person ever for posting pictures of myself in a swimsuit 4 months after having a baby?!

It sooooort of feels a little crazy. Once it's on the internet, it's there forever, right? But I just had to share this swimsuit with you guys... it's seriously the best! I'm always on the lookout for cute and modest swimwear and Lime Ricki has so many cute styles that are all modest & adorable!
This peplum swim top is so flattering! It's easy for a swimsuit to show off all your insecurities and make you feel uncomfortable, but in this suit I can chase my boys around the waterpark without worrying about anything and I feel pretty fab in it.
And although it felt weird posting photos of myself in a swimsuit right now (because I don't feel like my body is where I want it to be yet... and that burger I ate yesterday didn't help. Oops.) I love the idea of embracing all kinds of body types in swimsuits. We all wear them, right? And most of us don't look like sexy Victoria's Secret models, but who even cares? I'm not sitting there in my lounge chair by the pool being like "her thighs are so huge, her stomach is too squishy to be wearing a bikini, omg I can see all her stretch marks." Most of our insecurities aren't really noticed by others... and even if they are, again I say: who cares? Rock that swimsuit this summer!

If you want to win a Lime Ricki swimsuit for yourself, make sure you're following me on Instagram! I'll be holding a giveaway for a swimsuit there later today!
