I'll be the first to admit that it's pretty hard to wear something that's cute and fashionable, while also being practical.

This is true for most people... it's hard to excuse buying that giant tulle skirt when you can't exactly wear that to the office or while running errands. But it's so pretty! And fun! And there will be an event for it, right? And sometimes it's ok to just get something pretty and fun and impractical. But I'm trying really hard lately to only purchase things that I know I'll wear at least fairly regularly.
This top was so gorgeous and fun and great quality, but I was unsure if I'd actually wear it. I pictured it with a cute midi skirt and heels which is great for church on Sundays, a wedding, or some other formal-ish thing! But I really wanted to find a way to wear it more casually. And I think it really works in this outfit! The black ponte pants are a dressier that say, leggings but still a casual look. And this gorgeous wooden watch adds the perfect level of casual to the outfit while still being really classy. What I'm trying to say is that it's been so worth it to think before I buy, and to find ways to mix up my closet in different ways to maximize my purchases. It ultimately helps me save money and I'm alllll about that savings, you guys.
Hope you all had a fab weekend! I'm so loving this summer weather and hanging out with my boys. We went to the dinosaur museum & had a bbq with friends... and then both boys got sick. Boooooo! Sick toddlers are sad and no fun, but a sick 4 month old is just the saddest and most pitiful! That poor little guy! Here's hoping this sickness passes quickly, I've got fun plans for us in this sunshine-y weather.
