How to pull off a minidress

Any fellow pale-legged people out there? I'm here to help you out with how to rock a dress with pasty white legs.

Dress- Free People (I sized up for length) // Choker- Ruby Claire Boutique // Shoes- Free People // Fitbit Alta

Step 1: find a cute dress that you love

Step 2: wear the dress

And there you go!
But seriously, if I've learned anything about body positivity it's that you just have to throw away your insecurities & wear what you love! Insecurities come in so many forms and I've heard it from pretty much every female I know. But if you feel GOOD in something, like how awesome I feel in this dress, you wear it for goodness sakes.
And guys, I DIE over the embroidery on this cute dress! The detail is amazing in person and the fabric is so high quality but lightweight. It's a perfect summer dress!

P.S. today is my birthday!! Birthdays are the best and I plan to celebrate 27 SO HARD. Everyone my age is starting to complain about getting older & hitting 30, but I feel like it's kind of exciting! Who knows, maybe my tune will change over the coming years but right now getting older just feels fun. I'm a 27 year old who's been married for 6 years & has two kids so I'm definitely on the young end of the spectrum for my stage in life. Things for me will honestly be pretty similar in 3 years, so I don't feel like there's too much to be afraid of! Let the good times roll, amiright?

  3. Happy birthday, lady! I'm 27 & I'm one that is complaining and not ready to hit 30 -- mainly because I don't have kids yet (we've been trying for years) if we had kids, I wouldn't be complaining.

You look so cute in this dress and I love your shoes!
