Recent Makeup Faves!

Hey friends! Today I wanted to share a few of my recent makeup favorites. I don't blog about it very much, but I'm a beauty addict & I'm always on the lookout for new amazing products!

I got these during a sale recently and wanted to test them out and post my opinion, so here we go!

Anastasia Glow Kit-- I've had my eye on this highlighter kit for a while and finally got it on sale. There are 4 shades & they're all shimmery and amazing! I use moonstone and summer the most, but the other two shades still look surprisingly good on my pale skin! It's sheer enough that I can go for darker shades if I'm feeling it. I'm definitely a fan of this one!

Morphe R2 Bronzer Brush-- Ok, this brush is AMAZING. I wanted a huge, fluffy brush for throwing on bronzer without looking too structured & contoured. For casual makeup days! This brush is a DREAM, making me look bronzed with a few quick swipes. Highly recommend this one if you're in the market!

Bobbi Brown Cream Blush in the shade Fresh Melon-- I've been dying for a peachy, summery blush and this one has been a win. The cream formula is great for a glowy look! The only down side is application is a little harder. I tried using the back end of my beauty blender & hardly got any product on my cheeks. Using my fingers worked better, but there's got to be a better way! I sure hope I find one because the color is perfection.

Beauty Blender-- this one is a repeat purchase for me! I've had the original pink beauty blender, but since my toddler decided to bite chunks out of it I wanted a replacement. I like that the black doesn't show makeup residue as well, but I mean... it's a beauty blender. Reliable as always, I use it every day.

Lancome Teint Idole Foundation-- Guys... I found it. The holy grail of foundations has made its way into my hands! I searched for MONTHS, getting sample after sample at Sephora, MAC, Nordstrom, checking the drugstore isles (and sneaking samples there) and all of that lead me to this. It sounds dramatic but I'm just so excited to have finally found what I was looking for. It provides full coverage, while still giving a dewy, youthful glow and the shade match was spot on for me. Seriously, go get shade matched in this foundation because you won't regret it!

Anastasia Contour Kit-- This one seems to be a cult favorite as far as contour kits go and I had tried some of the cheaper knock off versions with little success. None of them had the color payoff I was looking for! The Anastasia kit lived up to the hype for me, and I use it every time I contour! I still want to try out a cream contour kit to see what I like better, but for now the powder version is keeping me happy.

Sooo there you have it! I'm pretty pleased with all these products & hope to keep up with telling you the good AND bad in my makeup adventures!

  3. I use Lancome, too! Seriously can't live without it. I got the Anastasia Glow Kit, but I still love my Champagne highlight by BECCA best. You gotta try it!
